The 437th Annual Snowball Fight

Jake Williams is a writer, creative director, and producer with a passion for storytelling. As a valued part of our Extended Team at James & Matthew, we are excited to share a bit about his latest project — a book-turned-game — because we believe in supporting our community of creatives!

So, tell us about your book! What's it all about?

Jake: Every year Santa invites the Easter Bunny, Cupid, the Pumpkin and their friends to Iceburgh, North Pole to compete in a big snowball fight. The winning team gets the Best Holiday of the Year trophy and bragging rights for the year!

How did you come up with this idea?

Jake: I’ve always loved holiday-themed books and TV specials and I wanted to tell a story that would bring them all together.

How has this project been most creatively fulfilling for you?

Jake: It’s allowed me to work collaboratively with other artists!

“The 437th Annual Snowball Fight” is a children’s book about friendship, fun, and

playing fair.

And now it's going to be a game?! Tell us about that...

Jake: The children’s book was always intended to be the first step in a multi-phase intellectual property. Those phases included a mobile game, a board game, and more...

How can we learn more about all of this?

Jake: A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway to raise funds to pay the mobile game designers and artists. You can check out the crowd funding campaign and visit the website for the intellectual property.
